Builder Grade Products

Builder Grade products are great for low budget situations. This grade, also known as Utility, #3 Common, or Rustic Grade, will include all of nature's character such as open and closed knots, mineral streaks and a wide variety of color and grain variations. This grade will have a shorter average board length than higher grades and include defects such as: splits, cracks, open knot holes, some broken or missing tongues/grooves, and other natural defects. Because of that, this product is sold "As-Is" and the customer is recommended to use a higher waste factor. The unusable percentage of this grade varies per order and is generally determined by the customers budget, a desire for a natural-looking floor, and the installers handling experience. Overall, this flooring offers a substantial savings with an end result delivering a beautiful floor with a natural look.
